HOW TO SWITCH YOUR ACCOUNT EMAIL

In order to switch your account email on OVEX you will have to follow the below steps.

At OVEX, we understand that sometimes you may need to update your registered email address for various reasons. To ensure the security of your account, we have a simple but thorough process in place to switch your account email.

 

This guide will walk you through the steps required when changing your registered email address on OVEX whether it be for a personal account or corporate account.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT

To change your OVEX account email follow the steps below:

(1) Contact OVEX Support
The first step in updating your email address is to contact our support team via email.

For Personal Accounts:

Email: kyc@ovex.io
Subject Line: Switch Account Email
Important: You must send this email from the email address currently registered on your OVEX account. This is a critical security measure to verify your identity.

 

(2) Provide a Dated, Handwritten Note

In your email, you must include a photo of yourself holding a dated handwritten note that reads:
"Switch account

from email: ____@icloud.com

to email: ____@gmail.com"

 

(3) Include Valid Identification in the Photo

To further verify your identity, you must be holding a valid government-issued identification document in the photo. This is so that we can ensure the request to switch emails originates from you and not a scammer.

 

(4) Ensure the Photos is Clear

For security reasons, the photo you provide must be clear and not blurry. The details in the handwritten note and the identification document must be easily readable.

 

Example of the Required Photo

  • You are holding a dated handwritten note that says: Switch account from email: john.doe@icloud.com to email: john.doe@gmail.com
  • Your valid identification document is clearly visible in the same photo.
  • The entire image is clear and legible.

 

CORPORATE ACCOUNTS

For Corporate Accounts:

Email: compliance@ovex.io
Subject Line: Switch Account Email
Important: You must send this email from the email address currently registered on your OVEX account. This is a critical security measure to verify your identity.
Note: You will receive a resolution document from the OVEX compliance team that needs to be signed by all directors of the registered entity. The compliance team may ask for additional documentation if necessary. 

 

Once you have sent the email with all the required attachments:

  • Our support team will review your request.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your email address has been successfully updated.

Note: This process may take up to 48 hours. If further verification is needed, our support team may reach out to you.
